Qualified private investors (A) (AIFMG)

You are a qualified private investor if you have unencumbered bank deposits and financial instruments worth more than €500,000, undertake to invest at least €100,000 in an AIF, and can demonstrate that you are sufficiently diversified and do not invest more than 20% of your assets consisting of financial instruments in an AIF.

Semi-professional investors (D) (Section 1 (19) No. 34 KAGB)

These are investors who are not automatically professional,
but who meet certain requirements, e.g.:

  • Minimum investment amount of €200,000,

  • Written declaration that they understand the risks associated with the investment,

  • Confirmation by the capital management company (KVG) that the investor has sufficient knowledge and experience
